To work towards liberation, we have to hit them with heartfelt stories and hard data. In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll be able to identify what questions can be answered by data, locate prostitution arrest data for your area, import sample data, and generate graphs to answer a few basic questions. This workshop is better-suited for people based in the United States who have access to some kind of spreadsheet software (Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc, Excel).
This class is for people with lived experience in the sex trade and starts at 3pm ET/2pm CT/noon PT on Wednesday, February 12.
Questions to Consider:
- Can I tell how many sex workers & clients are arrested in my city?
- What are the names of common sex work-related arrest charges?
- How can I use data while striving to honor the people that the data represents?
