Justice Makes Is Safer! Friends:  As you may know Philadelphia will be electing a new District Attorney. The primary is May 16. The general election is Nov. 8.

Come meet the candidatesMonday, April 17, 2017 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EDT) Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law 3320 Market St Room 140 Philadelphia, PA 19104

HIV-criminalization advocates tried, without success, to get current DA Seth Williams to commit to not prosecute people with HIV for consensual sex, if there is no risk of transmission.

The Philly DA Race presents a unique opportunity to, hopefully, get the candidates to make commitments on the record. The AIDS Law Project has begun asking the question — “Will the next DA refrain from prosecuting people with HIV for consensual sex if there is no risk of transmission?” —

Tune in at candidate forums and on social media. We hope other advocates will join us in asking the question until we get an answer.
