Alaska Action Alert: Help Pass HB 112!

The Community United for Safety and Protection commends Alaska Representative Matt Claman for sponsoring House Bill 112, expanding Alaska’s current sexual assault statute to prohibit police officers from sexually penetrating or having sexual contact with those they are investigating. Currently, it is only illegal for police to sexually penetrate those who are in their custody.

Pennsylvania Defined As  Draconian On Prostitution 

According to the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts (AOPC), at least 914 individuals, mainly women, were imprisoned state-wide for repeat prostitution charges from 2010 through 2015. The astronomical financial cost to imprison women with prostitution convictions presents a compelling reason to abolish recidivist provisions for prostitution.
